I Thessalonians
1:1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, to the ekklesia of the Thessalonians that are in Elohim the Father and in the LORD Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace, from Elohim our Father, and the LORD Jesus Christ.1:2 We give thanks to Elohim always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;1:3 Remembering without ceasing your work of Faith and labor of brotherly love, and patience of hope in our LORD Jesus Christ, in the sight of Elohim and our Father;1:4 knowing brethren dearly loved, your Election from Elohim.1:5 Because our Good News came not to you in word only, but also in power and in the Sacred Spirit, and in much assurance; as you know what sort of men we were among you for your sake.1:6 And you became followers of us and of the LORD, having received the Word in much affliction, with joy of the Sacred Spirit:1:7 So that you were examples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.1:8 For from you has sounded forth the Word of the LORD, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your Faith toward Elohim went out, so that we have no need to say anything.1:9 For they themselves show from us what quality of entering in we had to you, and how you turned to Elohim from idols to serve the living and True Elohim;1:10 And to wait for his Son from the cosmos, who HE resurrected from the dead, even Jesus that delivered us from the anger to come.
2:1 For yourselves brethren know our entrance in to you, that it was not in vain:2:2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated as you know at Philippi, we were bold in our Elohim to speak to you the Good News of Elohim with much contention.2:3 Because our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:2:4 But as we were allowed of Elohim to be put in trust with the Good News, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but Elohim that examines our hearts.2:5 Because neither at anytime used we flattering words as you know, nor in avarice; Elohim is witness:2:6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither from you, nor still of others, when we might have been burdensome as the Apostles of Christ.2:7 But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherishes her children:2:8 So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted to you, not the Good News of Elohim only, but also ourselves, because you were dear to us.2:9 Because you remember brethren, our labor and travail: for laboring night and day, because we would not be chargeable to any of you, we heralded to you the Good News of Elohim.2:10 You are witnesses and Elohim also, how sacredly and justly and blamelessly we behaved ourselves among you that believe:2:11 As you know how we exhorted and comforted and charged everyone of you, as a father does his children,2:12 that you would walk worthy of Elohim, who has called you to his Kingdom and glory.2:13 For this cause also we thank Elohim without ceasing, because when you received the Word of Elohim that you heard from us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in Truth, the Word of Elohim, that is operational also in you that believe.2:14 For you brethren, became followers of the ekklesias of Elohim that in Judaea are in Christ Jesus, because you also have suffered similar things from your own countrymen, even as they have from the Jews:2:15 Who both killed the LORD Jesus and their own Prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not Elohim and are contrary to all people:2:16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins at all times: for the anger has come upon them to the End Times.2:17 But we brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavored the more abundantly to see your face with great desire.2:18 Therefore we would have come to you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.2:19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are you not even in the presence of our LORD Jesus Christ at his Advent?2:20 Because you are our glory and joy.
3:1 Therefore when we could no longer endure it, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone;3:2 And sent Timotheus, our brother and servant of Elohim, and our fellow laborer in the Good News of Christ, to establish you and to comfort you concerning your Faith:3:3 That no one should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed.3:4 For of a truth when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer distress; even as it came to pass and you know.3:5 For this cause, when I could no longer keep silent, I sent to know your Faith, unless by some means the Tempter has tempted you and our labor was in vain.3:6 But now when Timotheus came from you to us, and brought us joyful news of your Faith and brotherly love, and that you have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also want to see you:3:7 Therefore brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your Faith:3:8 For now we live, if you stand fast in the LORD.3:9 Because what thanks can we render to Elohim again for you, for all the joy in which we joy for your sakes before our Elohim;3:10 Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might complete what is lacking in your Faith?3:11 Now Elohim Himself and our Father, and our LORD Jesus Christ, direct our way to you.3:12 And the LORD make you to increase and abound in Love toward one another and toward all people, even as we do toward you:3:13 To the end he may establish your hearts blameless in moral purity before Elohim, even our Father, at the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ with all his saints.
4:1 Furthermore then we question you brethren, and exhort you by the LORD Jesus, that as you have received from us how you should walk and please Elohim, so you would abound more and more.4:2 Because you know what commandments we gave you by the LORD Jesus.4:3 Because this is the will of Elohim, even your consecration, that you should abstain from illicit sexual intercourse:4:4 That everyone of you should know how to possess his vessel in consecration and honor;4:5 Not in the depraved lusts, even as the Gentiles that know not Elohim.4:6 That no person go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because the LORD is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.4:7 For Elohim has not called us to uncleanness, but to consecration.4:8 He therefore that disregards, disregards not man but Elohim, who has also given to us his Sacred Spirit.4:9 But as touching brotherly love you need not that I write to you: for you yourselves are taught of Elohim to Love one another.4:10 And indeed you do it toward all the brethren that are in all Macedonia: but we exhort you brethren, that you increase more and more;4:11 And that you study to be quiet and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;4:12 that you may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that you may have lack of nothing.4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant brethren, concerning them that are dead, that you sorrow not, even as others that have no hope.4:14 Because if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that die in Jesus will Elohim bring with Him.4:15 For this we say to you by the Word of the LORD, that we that are alive and remain to the coming of the LORD will not precede them that are dead.4:16 Because the LORD Himself will descend from the cosmos with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the Trumpet of Elohim: and the dead in Christ will be resurrected first:4:17 Then we that are alive and remain will be seized up together with them in the cloud-mass, to meet the LORD in the sky: and so will we be with the LORD always.4:18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
5:1 But of the times and the seasons brethren, you have no need that I write to you.5:2 Because you know exactly that the Day of the LORD so comes as a thief in the night.5:3 Because when they will say, "peace and safety", then sudden destruction comes upon them, as birth pains upon a woman with child; and they will not escape.5:4 But you brethren are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief.5:5 You are all the children of Light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.5:6 Therefore let us not fall to sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.5:7 Because they that fall to sleep slumber in the night; and they that are drunken are drunken in the night.5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of Faith and Love (Agape); and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.5:9 Because Elohim has not appointed us to anger, but to possess salvation by our LORD Jesus Christ,5:10 who died for us, that whether we are awake or sleeping, we should live together with him.5:11 Therefore comfort yourselves together and edify one another, even as also you do.5:12 And we entreat you brethren to know them that labor among you, and are over you in the LORD, and admonish you;5:13 And to esteem them very highly in Love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.5:14 Now we exhort you brethren, warn them that are disorderly, comfort the fainthearted, support the weak, be patient toward all.5:15 See that none render bad for bad to anyone; but ever follow what is good, both among yourselves and to all.5:16 Rejoice always.5:17 Pray incessantly.5:18 In everything give thanks because this is the will of Elohim in Christ Jesus concerning you.5:19 Quench not the Spirit.5:20 Despise not prophecy.5:21 Prove all things; hold fast what is good.5:22 Abstain from all external evil.5:23 And the very Elohim of peace consecrate you wholly; and I pray to Elohim for your whole spirit, heart and body be preserved blameless to the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ.5:24 Faithful is HE that calls you, who also will do it.5:25 Brethren, pray for us.5:26 Greet all the brethren with a Holy kiss.5:27 I charge you by the LORD that this letter be read to all the Most Holy brethren.5:28 The Grace of our LORD Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
II Thessalonians
1:1 Paul, Silvanus, and Timotheus to the ekklesia of the Thessalonians in Elohim our Father and the LORD Jesus Christ:1:2 Grace to you and peace, from Elohim our Father and the LORD Jesus Christ.1:3 We are bound to thank Elohim always for you brethren, as is befitting, because your Faith grows exceedingly and the Love of everyone of you all toward each other abounds;1:4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the ekklesias of Elohim for your patience and Faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure:1:5 That is a visible token of the righteous Judgment of Elohim, that you may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of Elohim, for which you also suffer:1:6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with Elohim to repay tribulation to them that distress you;1:7 And to you who are distressed rest with us, when the LORD Jesus will be revealed from the cosmos with his mighty angels,1:8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not Elohim, and that obey not the Good News of our LORD Jesus Christ:1:9 Who will be punished with age-lasting destruction from the presence of the LORD, and from the glory of his power;1:10 When he will come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.1:11 Therefore we also pray always for you, that our Elohim would count you worthy of this calling, and complete all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of Faith with power:1:12 That the Name of our LORD Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the Grace of our Elohim and the LORD Jesus Christ.
2:1 Now we entreat you brethren, by the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together to him.2:2 That you be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the Day of Christ is at hand.2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means that that Day will not come, except there come a falling away first and that man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction;2:4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim, or that is worshipped; so that he as "Elohim" sits in the Temple of Elohim, showing himself that he is "Elohim".2:5 Don't you remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things? 2:6 And you now know what is restraining him that he might be revealed in his time.2:7 Because the hidden thing of lawlessness is already operative: only he who at this time restrains, will do so, until he [Elijah] that appears in history is taken out of the way.2:8 And then will that Lawless be revealed, who the LORD will consume with the spirit of his mouth, and will destroy with the brightness of his Advent:2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power, signs and lying miracles,2:10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the Love of the Truth, that they might be saved.2:11 And for this cause Elohim will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the Lie:2:12 That they all might be judged who believed not the Truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.2:13 But we are bound to give thanks always to Elohim for you, brethren dearly loved of the LORD, because Elohim has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through consecration of the Spirit and belief of the Truth:2:14 Thereunto he called you by our Good News, to the possessing of the glory of our LORD Jesus Christ.2:15 Therefore brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions that you have been taught, whether by Word, or our letter.2:16 Now our LORD Jesus Christ Himself and Elohim, even our Father that has Loved us, and has given us age- lasting solace and a good expectation through Grace,2:17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.
3:1 Finally brethren, pray for us that the Word of the LORD may have free course and be glorified, even as it is with you:3:2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all have not Faith.3:3 But the LORD is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from bad.3:4 And we have confidence in the LORD touching you, that you both do and will do the things that we command you.3:5 And the LORD direct your hearts into the Love of Elohim and into the patient waiting for Christ.3:6 Now we command you brethren, in the Name of our LORD Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother that walks disorderly, and not after the tradition that he received from us.3:7 Because yourselves know how you ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;3:8 Neither did we eat any person's bread freely; but worked with labor and toil night and day so that we might not be chargeable to any of you:3:9 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an example to you to follow us.3:10 Because even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.3:11 Because we hear that there are some that walk among you disorderly, not working at all but are busybodies.3:12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our LORD Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work and eat their own food.3:13 But you brethren, be not weary in well doing.3:14 And if anyone obey not our word by this letter, note that man, and have no company with him that he may be ashamed.3:15 Yet count him not as an enemy but admonish him as a brother.3:16 Now the LORD of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The LORD be with you all.3:17 The salutation of Paul with my own hand, that is the mark in every letter: so I write.3:18 The Grace of our LORD Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
