I Timothy
1:1 Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of Elohim our Savior, and LORD Jesus Christ that is our hope;1:2 To Timothy, my own son in the Faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from Elohim our Father and Jesus Christ our LORD.1:3 According as I did exhort you to remain in Ephesus, I going on to Macedonia, that you might charge some not to teach any other doctrine.1:4 Neither give heed to fiction and endless genealogies, that render questions rather than divine edifying that is in Faith.1:5 Now the end of the commandment is Love out of a pure heart, and from a good conscience, and of Faith unfeigned:1:6 From which some having swerved have turned aside to vain talking;1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the Law; understanding neither what they say, nor what they affirm.1:8 But we know that the Law is good, if a man uses it properly;1:9 Knowing this, that the Law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the impious and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for murderers,1:10 for prostitutes, for homosexuals, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;1:11 According to the glorious Good News of the blessed Elohim that was committed to my trust.1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our LORD, who has enabled me, because he counted me faithful, putting me into the service;1:13 Who was before a blasphemer and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.1:14 And the Grace of our LORD was exceedingly abundant with Faith and Love that is in Christ Jesus.1:15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the cosmos to save sinners; of whom I am chief.1:16 Nevertheless for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might show forth all patience for a pattern to them that should hereafter believe on him to Life Age-Lasting.1:17 Now to the age-lasting King, immortal, invisible, the only skilled Elohim is honor and glory for the ages of the ages Amen.1:18 This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies that went before on you, that you by them might war a good warfare;1:19 Holding Faith and a good conscience; that some having put away concerning Faith have made shipwreck:1:20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; who I have delivered to Satan so that they may learn not to blaspheme.
2:1 I exhort therefore, that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all human beings;2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all respect and honesty.2:3 Because this is good and acceptable in the sight of Elohim our Savior;2:4 who will have all human beings to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the Truth.2:5 Because there is one Elohim, and one mediator between Elohim and people, the man Christ Jesus;2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testimony in due time.2:7 Thereunto I am ordained a herald, and an Apostle, (I speak the Truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in Faith and objectivity.2:8 I will therefore that people pray everywhere, lifting up undefiled hands, without anger and doubting.2:9 Likewise also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with modesty and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;2:10 But (which becomes women professing reverence) with good works.2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.2:13 Because Adam was first formed, then Eve.2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in violation.2:15 Notwithstanding she will be preserved through childbearing, if they continue in Faith, Love and consecration with sobriety.
3:1 This is a true saying, if anyone longs for the oversight, he desires an excellent work.3:2 An elder then must be blameless, the husband of one woman, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach;3:3 Not given to wine, no brawler, not greedy of base gain; but patient, not contentious, not money loving;3:4 One that rules well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;3:5 (For if a man knows not how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the ekklesia of Elohim?)3:6 Not a novice, unless being lifted up with pride he falls into the condemnation of the False Accuser.3:7 Moreover he must have a good report of them that are without; unless he falls into reproach and the snare of the False Accuser.3:8 Likewise must the attendants be grave, not double tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of base gain;3:9 Possessing the Hidden Thing [Urim-Thummim] of the Faith in a cleansed conscience.3:10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of an attendant, being found blameless.3:11 Even so must their women be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.3:12 Let the attendants be the husband of one woman, ruling their children and their own houses well.3:13 For they that have used the office of an attendant well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the Faith that is in Christ Jesus.3:14 These things write I to you, hoping to come to you shortly:3:15 But if I stay long, that you may know how you ought to behave yourself in the Tabernacle of Elohim, that is the ekklesia of the living Elohim, the Pillar of Fire and stay of the Truth.3:16 And without controversy aged is the Hidden Thing [Urim-Thummim] of reverence: Elohim was exposed to view in the flesh, rendered righteous in the Spirit, seen of angels, heralded to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, raised up in glory.
4:1 Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the Latter-Times some will depart from the Faith, giving heed to wandering spirits, and doctrines of evil spirits;4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods, that Elohim has created to be received with thanksgiving of them that believe and know the Truth.4:4 For every creation of Elohim is good, and nothing to be refused, if it is received with thanksgiving:4:5 Because it is consecrated by the Word of Elohim and prayer.4:6 If you supply the brethren in remembrance of these things, you will be a good servant of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the Words of Faith and of good doctrine, to which you have attained.4:7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself rather to reverence.4:8 For bodily exercise profits a little: but reverence is profitable to all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of what is to come.4:9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.4:10 Because therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living Elohim, who is the Savior of all human beings, especially of those that believe.4:11 These things command and teach.4:12 Let no man despise your youth; but be you an example of the believers, in word, in conduct, in Love, in Spirit, in Faith, in Purity.4:13 Until I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.4:14 Neglect not the gift that is in you, that was given you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the body of elders.4:15 Meditate upon these things; give yourself wholly to them; that your profiting may appear to all.4:16 Take heed to yourself, and to the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you will both save yourself, and them that hear you.
5:1 Rebuke not an elder, but exhort him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;5:2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.5:3 Honor widows that are widows indeed.5:4 And if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn first to their own house to show piety, and to give back a recompense to the parents, for this is right and acceptable before Elohim.5:5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and solitary, trusts in Elohim, and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.5:6 But she that lives luxuriously is dead while she lives.5:7 And these things declare, that they may be blameless.5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he has denied the Faith and is worse than an infidel.5:9 A widow, let her not be enrolled under 60 years of age, having been a woman of one husband,5:10 well reported of for good works; if she has brought up children, if she has lodged strangers, if she has washed the saints' feet, if she has relieved the afflicted, if she has diligently followed every good work.5:11 But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to feel the impulses of sexual desire, that alienate them from Christ, they will marry;5:12 Having judgment, because they have cast off their first Faith.5:13 And together they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things that they should not.5:14 I desire therefore that the younger women marry, gender children, guide the house, give no occasion to the Adversary to speak reproachfully.5:15 Because some are already turned aside after Satan.5:16 If any man or woman that believes has widows, let them assist them, and let not the ekklesia be charged so that it may relieve them that are truly widows.5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the Word and doctrine.5:18 Because the Scripture says, You will not muzzle the ox that treads out the corn. And, the laborer is worthy of his reward.5:19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.5:20 Them that sin correct before all so that others also may fear.5:21 I charge you before Elohim and the LORD Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no one, neither be partaker of other people's sins: keep yourself pure.5:23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and your frequent infirmities.5:24 Some people's sins are known to all, openly leading to judgment; but with others, their sins go after them.5:25 In the same way the good works of some are visible beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hidden.
6:1 Let as many slaves as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, that the Name of Elohim and his Doctrine be not blasphemed.6:2 And they that have believing masters, let them not disdain them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.6:3 If anyone teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the Words of our LORD Jesus Christ, and to the Doctrine that is according to piety towards Elohim;6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but has a morbid outlook in questions and wrangling of words which promotes envy, strife, slander, evil surmisings,6:5 wranglings of men wholly corrupted in mind, and destitute of the Truth, supposing the piety to be gain; depart from such;6:6 But reverence with contentment is great gain.6:7 For we brought nothing into this world and it is certain we can carry nothing out.6:8 And having food and clothing let us be therewith content.6:9 But they that will be rich fall into trials and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown people in destruction and ruin.6:10 Because the love of money is a root of all wrong: which while some grasped after, they have erred from the Faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.6:11 But you, O man of Elohim, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, reverence, Faith, Love, patience, meekness.6:12 Fight the good fight of Faith, lay hold on Age-Lasting Life, where you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.6:13 I give you charge in the sight of Elohim, who restores to life all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good profession;6:14 That you keep this commandment spotless, not open to censure, until the appearing of our LORD Jesus Christ:6:15 That in his times he will show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the KING of kings, and LORD of lords;6:16 Who only has immortality, dwelling in the Light, that no human being can have access to; who no human being has seen, nor can see: to who is honor and power for the ages. Amen.6:17 Charge them that are rich in this age, that they are not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches but in the living Elohim, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;6:18 That they do good, that they are rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to fellowship;6:19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on Age-Lasting Life.6:20 O Timothy, keep what is committed to your trust, avoiding profane and empty discussions, and oppositions of science falsely so called:6:21 That some professing have erred concerning the Faith. Grace be with you. Amen.
II Timothy
1:1 Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of Elohim, according to the promise of Life that is in Christ Jesus,1:2 to Timothy, my dearly esteemed son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from Elohim the Father and Christ Jesus our LORD.1:3 I thank Elohim, who I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that continually I have remembrance of you in my prayers night and day;1:4 Greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy;1:5 When I call to memory the sincere Faith that is in you, that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that now lives in you too.1:6 Therefore I put you in remembrance that you stir up the gift of Elohim, that is in you by the putting on of my hands.1:7 Because Elohim has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of Love, and of a sound mind.1:8 Now be not ashamed of the testimony of our LORD, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the Good News in the power of Elohim,1:9 who has saved us and called us with a Most Holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and Grace, that was given us in Christ Jesus before age past times,1:10 but is now made visible by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has rendered death idle and has brought Life and immortality to Light through the Good News:1:11 To which I was appointed a herald, and an Apostle and a teacher of the Gentiles.1:12 For which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: because I know who I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep what I have committed to him against that day.1:13 Hold fast the form of sound words, that you have heard from me, in Faith and brotherly love that is in Christ Jesus.1:14 Those beautiful things that were committed to you guarded by the Sacred Spirit that lives in us.1:15 This you know that all they that are in Asia have deserted me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.1:16 The LORD give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus; because he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:1:17 But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently and found me.1:18 The LORD grant to him that he may find mercy from the LORD in that day: and in how many things he attended to me at Ephesus, you know very well.
2:1 You therefore, my son, be strong in the Grace that is in Christ Jesus.2:2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, the same commit you to faithful people, who will be able to teach others also.2:3 You therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.2:4 No one that undertakes a military expedition involves himself with the affairs of this life; so that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.2:5 And if also anyone may contend, he is not crowned, except he may contend lawfully (by the rules);2:6 The vine dresser that labors must be first to take of the fruits.2:7 Consider what I say; and the LORD give you understanding in all things.2:8 Remember that Jesus Christ from the lineage of David was resurrected from the dead according to my Good News:2:9 In which I suffer trouble, as a malefactor, even to bonds; but the Word of Elohim is not chained.2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the Elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with age-lasting glory.2:11 It is a faithful saying: Because if we are dead with him, we will also live with him:2:12 If we suffer, we will also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:2:13 If we are not steadfast, he remains steadfast; to deny himself he is not able.2:14 These things remind them of, testifying fully before the LORD, not to strive about words to nothing profitable, but to the subversion of those hearing;2:15 Study to show yourself approved unto Elohim, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.2:16 But shun profane and empty discussion: because it will increase to more impiety.2:17 And their word will eat as does a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;2:18 Who concerning the Truth have erred, saying that the resurrection has already taken place; and overthrow the Faith of some.2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of Elohim stands sure, having this seal, The LORD knows those that are his. And, Let everyone that bears the Name of Christ depart from injustice.2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor and some to dishonor.2:21 If a person therefore cleanses himself from these, they will be a vessel to honor, consecrated and useful for the master's employment, and prepared for every good work.2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, Faith, Love, Peace, with them that call on the LORD out of a pure heart.2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender fights.2:24 And the slave of the LORD must not strive; but be gentle to all, apt to teach, patient,2:25 in meekness instructing those that place themselves in opposition; if Elohim perhaps will give them a change of mind to the acknowledging of the Truth;2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the Devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
3:1 This know also, that in the Last Days perilous times will come.3:2 For people will be lovers of their own selves, money loving, boasters, haughty, slanderous, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3:3 unsociable, implacable, false accusers, intemperate, fierce, opposed to goodness,3:4 traitors, reckless, high- minded, loving pleasure more than loving Elohim;3:5 Having a semblance of reverence, but denying the power thereof, from such turn away.3:6 Because of this sort are they that creep into houses and make captive weak women laden with sins, led away with variegated lusts,3:7 ever learning and never able to come to the precise knowledge of the Truth.3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the Truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the Faith.3:9 But they will proceed no further, because their folly will be visible to all, as theirs also was.3:10 But you have fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, Faith, patience, Love, endurance,3:11 persecutions, afflictions, that came to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the LORD delivered me.3:12 Yes, and all that will live piously in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.3:13 But bad men and seducers will wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.3:14 But continue you in the things that you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them;3:15 And that from a child you have known the Holy Scriptures, that are able to make you wise unto salvation through Faith that is in Christ Jesus.3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of Elohim, and is profitable for doctrine, for evidence, for restoration, for instruction in righteousness:3:17 That the person of Elohim may be fitted, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
4:1 I charge you therefore before Elohim and the LORD Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom;4:2 Herald the Word; be ready when the opportunity occurs, out of season; convict, adjudge, exhort with all patience and doctrine.4:3 Because the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts will they heap up to themselves teachers, having itching ears;4:4 And they will turn away their ears from the Truth, and will be turned to fiction.4:5 But be you circumspect in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of a herald, make fully visible your ministry.4:6 Because I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have guarded the Faith:4:8 Hereafter there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, that the LORD, the righteous Judge, will give me at that day: and not to me only, but to all them also that dearly love his appearing.4:9 Do your best to come to me shortly:4:10 For Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present age and is departed to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.4:11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you: because he is profitable to me for the service.4:12 And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.4:13 The traveling cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, when you come bring with you, and the scroll, but especially the parchments.4:14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much wrong: the LORD reward him according to his works:4:15 Of whom be you also aware; for he has greatly withstood our words.4:16 At my first answer no one stood with me, but all deserted me: I pray Elohim that it may not be laid to their charge.4:17 Moreover the LORD stood with me and strengthened me; that by me the heralding might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.4:18 And the LORD will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me to his Cosmic Kingdom: to whom is glory for the ages of the ages. Amen.4:19 Welcome Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.4:20 Erastus stayed at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.4:21 Do your best to come before winter. Eubulus greets you, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.4:22 The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
