Titus
1:1 Paul, a slave of Elohim and an Apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the Faith of Elohim's Elect, and the acknowledging of the Truth that is after reverence;1:2 In hope of Age-Lasting Life, that Elohim that cannot lie, promised before age-past times;1:3 But has in due times manifested his Word through proclamation of heralding, that is committed to me according to the commandment of Elohim our Savior;1:4 To Titus, my own son after the common Faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from Elohim the Father and the LORD Jesus Christ our Savior.1:5 For this cause I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are wanting, and appoint elders in every city, as I had appointed you:1:6 If any are blameless, the husband of one woman, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.1:7 Because an elder must be blameless, as the steward of Elohim; not arrogant, not soon angry, not given to wine, no fighter, not greedy for base gain;1:8 But is generous to guests, loving goodness, sane, righteous, pure, temperate;1:9 Holding fast the faithful Word as he has been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to refute contradiction.1:10 Because there are many unruly and idle talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things that they should not, for baseless gain.1:12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own said, the Cretians are always liars, wild savages, lazy gluttons.1:13 This witness is true. Therefore refute them sharply so that they may be sound in the Faith;1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish narratives and precepts of men, that turn from the Truth.1:15 To the clean, all things are clean: but to them that are defiled and faithless is nothing clean; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.1:16 They profess that they know Elohim; but in works they deny him, being detestable and disobedient, and to every good work unfit.
2:1 But you speak the things that become sound doctrine:2:2 That the older men be temperate, venerable, sane, sound in Faith, in Love, in patience.2:3 The older women likewise, that they be in behavior as is befitting, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teaching what is good.2:4 That they may restore the young women to be moderate, to be loving their husbands and to love their children,2:5 to be temperate, venerable, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of Elohim is not blasphemed.2:6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.2:7 In all things showing yourself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing integrity, sanctity, incorruption,2:8 sound speech that cannot be condemned; so that he that is of the opposition may be ashamed, having no bad things to say about you.2:9 Exhort slaves to be obedient to their own masters, and to please them well in all things; and they are not to talk back.2:10 Not embezzling, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the Doctrine of Elohim our Savior in all things.2:11 Because the Grace of Elohim that brings salvation has appeared to all human beings,2:12 teaching us that, denying impiety and worldly desires, we should live with a sound mind, justly and divinely in this present age;2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the Great Elohim and our Savior Jesus Christ;2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might ransom us from all violations of Law, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.2:15 These things speak and exhort, and refute with all authority. Let no one despise you.
3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,3:2 to speak bad of no one, not to be fighters, but gentle, showing all meekness to all human beings.3:3 Because we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving variegated cravings and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.3:4 But after that the integrity and Love of Elohim our Savior toward mankind appeared,3:5 not by works of righteousness that we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us by the bathing of new birth, and renewing of the Sacred Spirit;3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior;3:7 That being rendered righteous by his Grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of Age-Lasting Life.3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that you affirm constantly, that they who believed in Elohim might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to human beings.3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the Law; for they are unprofitable and devoid of Truth.3:10 A person that is a heretic after the first and second admonition avoid;3:11 Knowing that he that is such is perverted, and sins, being self-condemned.3:12 When I will send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, be diligent to come to me to Nicopolis: because I have determined to winter there.3:13 Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey quickly, so that nothing is lacking for them.3:14 And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.3:15 All that are with me welcome you. Greet them that befriend us in the Faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
Philemon
1:1 Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ and Timothy our brother, to Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellow laborer,1:2 and to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the ekklesia in your house:1:3 Grace to you and peace from Elohim our Father and the LORD Jesus Christ.1:4 I thank my Elohim, making mention of you always in my prayers,1:5 hearing of your brotherly love and Faith that you have toward the LORD Jesus and toward all saints;1:6 That the association of your Faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing that is in you in Christ Jesus.1:7 Because we have great joy and consolation in your brotherly love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by you brother.1:8 Therefore, though I might be very frank in Christ to enjoin you to what is fitting,1:9 yet for love's sake I rather exhort you, being such a one as Paul the old man, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.1:10 I exhort you for my son Onesimus, who I have engendered in my bonds:1:11 That in times past was to you unprofitable, but now profitable to you and to me:1:12 Who I have sent back again: receive him that is my own heart:1:13 Who I would have retained with me, that in your behalf he might have attended to me in the bonds of the Good News:1:14 But without your consent I would do nothing; that your benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.1:15 For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that you should receive him for the ages;1:16 not now as a slave, but above a slave, a brother beloved, especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the LORD?1:17 If you count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.1:18 If he has wronged you, or owes you something, put that on my account;1:19 I Paul have written this with my own hand, I will repay it: not to mention that I do not say to you how you owe to me even your own self besides.1:20 Yes brother, let me have joy from you in the LORD: refresh my heart in the LORD.1:21 Having confidence in your obedience I wrote to you, knowing that you will also do more than I say.1:22 And at the same time also prepare for me a lodging, for I hope that through your prayers I will be granted to you.1:23 There greet you Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus;1:24 Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellow laborers.1:25 The Grace of our LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
